Real support for the reality of ADHD parenting

Hiccups and Hyperfocus

Parenting an ADHD child doesn’t come with a manual and you shouldn’t have to figure it all out alone.

You are not failing, you're parenting differently

Parenting ADHD is a different kind of parenting. Some days you understand it and some days you really don’t.

For the messy days, the big feelings, the school struggles and the mornings when you deserve a medal just for making it to the school gate.

A place to share what I’m learning about ADHD, parenting and all the things in between.

Inside Hiccups & Hyperfocus

Making sense of ADHD. Making space for real-life parenting.

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual and when you’re raising a child with ADHD, you can quickly discover that the advice written for everyone doesn’t always fit your child. Big feelings, constant reminders, school struggles, impulsivity, overwhelm and emotional regulation. The things that seem so simple for everyone else but somehow become really hard.  You’re not failing. Sometimes, the playbook just needs to change.

I'm a mum parenting a child with ADHD. Hiccups & Hyperfocus is a place to make sense of those moments through honest conversations, practical ideas and different perspectives. This isn’t about having all the answers or getting everything right. It’s about sharing what we’re learning, looking at things a little differently and reminding each other that we’re not alone in this.

Here you can expect:
